In Italy, Prosecco is made in three styles: Spumante, Frizzante, and less commonly, Tranquillo; which is a 'still' wine style. Here in Australia, most producers (including us at Wood Park), have pursued the 'sparkling' Prosecco wine style; and quite successfully too.
Our Wilds Gully Still Prosecco was the result of a small batch of remaining wine from our 2018 sparkling Prosecco and has proved to be a delicious success for the sweet wine palate.
Fine floral aromas with hints of green apple and peach complemented by a long finish with refreshing acidity.
The fruit for Wild’s Gully Prosecco is grown by Jim Delany near Bright in the Alpine Valleys region. This vineyard was planted in the late 1990s and the property is also home to the well known Alpine Angus beef.
