
A beautiful blend of Cabernet and Shiraz grapes based on vintage production methods, balanced with 60% Cabernet and 40% Shiraz. Aged in vintage oak the rich blackberry and raspberry notes provide a full bodied classic Australian blend. This was the first red wine that we released in 1989 and has been one of our personal favourites ever since.
This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from selected hand picked fruit on the Wood Park home vineyard at Kneebone’s Gap. The 2016 vintage has seen some stunning reds across the valley with a warm and dry summer providing for full ripening and flavour concentration.
