Serious Wine
Seasons greetings from the team at Wood Park.
We have some serious wines being released in the next couple of months. Our superdooper special reserve shiraz has made it into the bottle. It is awaiting labels, wax and boxes. The Home Block Viognier and the Monument Lane Rousanne have spent 6 months in oak, are days away from bottling, and they are going to be fantastic! On the accolades front, the Winestate magazine new release tasting was held recently. Wood Park were awarded on four of our wines. The 2011 Heavenly Moscato, 2009 Meadow Creek Chardonnay and 2009 Wilds Gully Shiraz Cab all got three stars and our 2009 Kneebones Gap Shiraz got three and a half. The Kneebones Gap Shiraz will be released soon but the other three are available now at our online shop.
Wine and Jazz
Hi Folks Our annual wine dinner was on Saturday night and was a raging success. A fun night was had by all with some very “tired” people the next day. Long weekend next weekend and the Wangaratta jazz festival is on again. On Monday we are having jazz on the verandah at the cheese factory….
