Youthful and vibrant apricot and floral citrus notes with soft and subtle oak with a slightly nutty finish. These Viognier grapes are grown on the edge of the home block of Wood Park. The vines are grown on lean gravelly soil over clay. An open canopy combined with a warm climate gives the fruit full ripeness.
The grapes are handpicked, crushed and pressed into a stainless steel tank. This was gently fermented to dryness and allowed to settle before racking to French Oak barrique with the yeast lees and stirred regularly for nine months to enhance its subtle delicate complexity.
